RHIBAC is funded by the FP6 programme of the European Union to research the mechanisms of plant growth promotion by rhizobacteria applied onto wheat. This approach may allow arable farmers to reduce their reliance on applied fertiliser, with benefits for the environment and sustainability of agriculture.
